Prattle Analytics, billed by ITEN as one of the fastest-growing startups in St. Louis, has landed a partnership with Kuberre Systems, a Boston-area financial data management and analytics company that focuses on investment management.
Kuberre will begin offering Prattle Analytics’ analysis of Central Bank data on one of its platforms, called Event Fusion, which offers users news and info that affects their investment holdings.
Prattle Analytics uses textual analysis methods to provide financial data solutions, particularly on the Fed, via its app called The Fed Playbook. Essentially, the company uses its technology to predict the Fed’s mood at any given moment.
It’s the first time Prattle Analytics data is being offered outside its existing client base.
“Event Fusion allows us to offer our unique central bank sentiment data in a completely new format,” said Prattle Analytics co-founder and CEO Evan Schnidman. “This alert-based approach will not only help data users stay apprised to constantly developing policy decisions, but it will also help their quantitative models perform better as this data arrives in real time.”
Prattle Analytics was founded in Boston but was lured to St. Louis after it won an Arch Grant in 2014. The company then also raised a $250,000 seed round from a group of investors. It now operates out of the Cambridge Innovation Center in the Cortex district and the CIC’s office in Boston.
